Remember the summers when the only thing that mattered was the and how many s'mores you could handle? The Camp Bennett Family Campout is a return to the kind of "good ole American fun" that defined our pre-screen childhoods. This is an “all-in” experience designed for our private member community, where parents and kids stop being spectators and start being teammates in an adventure at Camp Bennett. We've designed this weekend to compete as a top highlight of your summer in Sandpoint.
What to Expect at the Camp Bennett Family Campout
Saturday, Aug. 15: Basecamp & Field Games
After you check-in and collect your family’s handcrafted "wood-cookie" name tags, you’ll set up your basecamp and rotate through stations around the property that revive classic American summer camp fun.
- Teamwork Challenges: Tug of War, water balloon tosses, and a nature scavenger hunt.
- Craft Stations: Making friendship bracelets and God’s eyes.
- Capture the Flag: An epic, property-wide game that utilizes the whole forest.
- Campfire Traditions: A sunset Flag Ceremony followed by roasting hot dogs and s’mores over the fire.
Sunday, Aug. 16: Pancake Breakfast in the Barn
Join us for a 7:30am morning Flag or wake up slowly and join us in the barn when you're ready. We'll serve a massive pancake breakfast from 8-10am. It’s a time to socialize with friends new and old before packing up and heading home with full hearts and a renewed sense of community.
