The Hygge Retreat: Our Scandi-Modern Guest Home
The Family Vision & Intentional Design
The Hygge Retreat began as a deeply personal project: a beautiful, restorative Guest Home designed for Will's parents and extended family to visit and stay on the property. We partnered with Capra Home Concepts to construct this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with exceptional intentionality, using sustainable building science and prioritizing non-toxic finishes, radiant floor heat, and natural materials for a mold-free home. This attention to detail ensures the home is not merely a place to sleep, but a true sanctuary built on the foundations of health and wellness.

While built for family, the Hygge Retreat's unique design principles make it an ideal temporary haven for mold detoxing, and personal restoration. The high-quality environment, featuring a private sauna and hot tub, is perfectly suited for those seeking a quiet retreat for recharging, detoxification, or mental clarity. It offers guests a serene, comfortable base aligned with our mission of intentional living. Its unique setting provides a peaceful, nature-based backdrop for your recreational stay in the Sandpoint area.

Forest Fitness: Grounding Movement & Play
The Vision for Year-Round Movement
Camp Bennett is actively building an exceptional members-only club dedicated to grounding movement, healthy activity, and fun for all ages, year-round. We are finishing a warm, indoor space perfect for parkour and high-energy Nerf blaster classes when the snow flies. Concurrently, we are using reclaimed materials to construct a unique forest obstacle course, blending organized movement with the benefits of nature.
Coach Will's Programs
You don't have to wait for the build to experience our quality coaching! Coach Will brings his high-energy Nerf blaster classes, private parties, and homeschool PE programs to our satellite location in town at Studio 1 Sandpoint NOW. From structured youth classes to private birthday parties, our fitness programs emphasize joyful, active play as a core element of a healthy family lifestyle. Between the indoor barn space and the back woods we will make year-round activity available for our community of families. Signature Workshops & Education
Imagine expert-led skill-building workshops on critical topics such as family preparedness, holistic wellness, entrepreneurship, and homemaking. Our inaugural event, the Women's Winter Workshop (November 15th), co-hosted with With Love Elizabeth Hulsey, is a restorative mini-retreat focused on prepping for a joyful, stress-free holiday season.

We are Will and Meredith Bennett, parents to Margo, Samuel, and Clark.
This land is our family's home, and Camp Bennett is our mission: to cultivate a Family-First Community Hub where friends and neighbors can gather, grow, and restore. Inspired by our previous adventures and our deep love for family, community, and Idaho, we are building a space where every child and parent can feel a sense of belonging. We believe in bravely leading our children to become capable, caring adults by fostering self-confidence, independence, and vital life skills through nature-based activities and strong community support.
