The First Annual Living Nativity Event at Camp Bennett
The idea for this event was born about three months ago...
As we've selectively cleared the woods, built The Hygge Retreat, and cleared out the barn, we've spent countless hours discussing the types of community fellowship we want to host here at Camp Bennett.
Our mission for Camp Bennett is to create a place that's a convener of freedom-loving families aligned in our shared pursuit of truth. A hub for common sense with programs led by guest experts who inform and inspire. A place where we nurture strong men, secure women, and resilient children.
One afternoon, some of our dear friends were deep in conversation about the word of God in the back of our barn, and ever since have referred to the space as The Manger. Piggy backing onto "The Manger," we all agreed how lovely it would be to host a Living Nativity event here for our community.
Our long-term vision for this annual event is grand.
Imagine a walk-through experience of Bethlehem. Live actors, live animals, lights -- an immersive experience for our children. A rustic market filled with local artisans' handmade goods and wares -- an opportunity for us to uplift and support local (and aligned) family-owned businesses. Moving stories from those doing local mission work -- inspiring us to give to those in need. A beautiful celebration of the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ ahead of the Christmas holiday.
We intend to build upon this event year after year.

This evening is dedicated to celebrating the profound power of new life: the eternal hope found in the birth of Jesus Christ, the new chapter starting with the launch of our Private Membership Association, and the precious, new lives being supported by Humble Hillside Farm Maternity Home.

We are honored to welcome our dear neighbor, Jacci Humble, who will speak about the mission.
Humble Hillside Farm Maternity Home is a Christ centered refuge for women facing unplanned pregnancies, providing housing, spiritual guidance, and emotional support. Empowering women to choose life for their babies, they offer a loving Christian family environment and connect them with community and national resources for a hopeful future. Every life, born and unborn, is precious in God's eyes.

In the spirit of the Three Wise Men bringing their precious gifts to the Baby Jesus, we have selected Humble Hillside Farm as our giving partner for this first annual Living Nativity event at Camp Bennett.
Their most vital need is not physical goods, but reliable long-term financial stability. We strongly encourage all guests to consider becoming a monthly giver to Humble Hillside Farm. Whether it's $5 or $50, your consistent contribution is the greatest gift of security and stability you can offer these mothers and infants.
THIS GATHERING IS FREE TO ATTEND.
We welcome a suggested donation per family to support the operational costs of this event and the planning of next year's larger Living Nativity community event.
